Because zero waste just tastes better
Because zero waste just tastes better
The European Single-Use Plastics (SUP) Directive has been in effect since 3 July 2021, with the goal of reducing plastic litter and making the earth healthier. Single-use products such as plastic straws, cups and cutlery are no longer an option. Alternatives include disposable products made of other materials, like cardboard or bamboo.
But what if…we were to choose a circular alternative? Then we’d create a loop, reduce waste and lower our CO2 emissions. It could be a responsible solution for people and the earth.
How? By keeping materials in the production chain by reusing products instead of throwing them out after a single use. This makes plastic and other materials last a whole lot longer, making them more sustainable. At Circulware, we believe that circularity is the future of food packaging.
This is why we make Circulware Responsibles: sustainable tableware for food delivery and take-away, restaurants, catering and events, that is made to be reused more than 125 times.
This is how Circulware works:
You might have noticed that the top and bottom parts of our food containers are identical. This means that your company will never run out of lids or containers, and we can save a whole mould in our production.
Taking energy consumption and detergents for cleaning into account, our products start reducing the carbon footprint after only 8 cycles. After 125 cycles, the potential CO2 reduction is more than 85%
